My thoughts are that he is a conniver.
He knows candidate Hilliary would insure a record turnout of the anti-Clintons and republicans.

Dead link. And what makes you think there is going to be a record turnout of republicans?

Which is why Hillary won't be the nominee.

He'd be more qualified to get on the TV show, "The Biggest Loser." That applies to any of the remaining neocon chickenhawks.

Hillary causes Democratic men to write checks to the GOP. No chance.

I wonder if they will tone down Gore and he'll win. Guys got like 2 billion dollars after google and other startups he financed.. Money is not a problem he's left of Hillary but can hide it better.. All he need to do is hit the fat farm and I think he's in. Warner was automatic but he chickened out.

A new and improved 2008 Gore may be in the cards. But he would have to back off the environmental advocacy and talk about other issues more. The environment doesn't resonate with enough Americans to make it a core issue like it has been for Gore in the past six years.

He might start by not bringing in a motorcade of gas guzzlers to each showing of his pathetic little film... And stopping his hypocrisy considering he consumes more fuel for his private jet on one trip than the rest of us use all year long.

I think Hillary could totally win... you'd be a fool to underestimate the Clintons.

if Hillary were smart, she wouldn't make a single campaign appearance and have Bill do it all for her :p

Yep. Most of the conservative voters I know are either voting Democrat or staying out of the election.

Only because Bush wasnt a conservative. Guys I tallk to, when I finally get them to open up are pissed about open borders...about not enough taxes cut...about Iraq to a less extent because they are good ole boys and support troops and president were ever they are. Staying home though is no solution to those problems. Everyone should vote even if you 'throw it away' like I do on constitution party or libertarian.

It's not throwing it away. I'm voting libertarian.

Oh there's no doubt about that. She sounds like a tourtured cat on stage.

The only glitch in that plan is assuming that her campaign can keep his all of Bill's "campaign appearances" under wraps. ;)

She's walking a tightrope with him. Dennis Miller said it best when he said "That marriage couldn't be any more about convience if there was a Slim Jim rack in the bedroom."

Bill is as much an asset as a potential time bomb.

Ummm... Welcome to 1996?

Cheney is less popular than the president.
Last time I checked, his popularity/approval rating was 19%.
It shouldn't be more than in the low 30's now.

Does Cheney even have a strong enough ticker to handle a 4 year term? He's had how many health scares since being in office?

Cheney is a vicious and corrupt indivual---but understands using any means to gain an end---and his arguements are begiling but logically flawed---he plays well to the GOP faithful,
scaring all with doomday predictions---but he will look like a hell of a fool if Al-Quida ever does attack the US again--which would be childs play for any terrorist organization, given how little has actually been done by homeland security.

Cheney has another big worry---if the dems get even one wing of congress---Cheneys may find himself up to his eyeballs in theft or outright lies uncovered as the dems subpeona various documents kept long buried by the republican majority.

Cheney has another problem----his popularity has always stunk----its around 19%---or about half what GWB's is---which is why Cheney needs a front man---and Cheney plays GWB like a fiddle---but without a front man---Cheney& Karl Rove and the neo-con crowd--- have far less of a chance to sell their agenda.

But right now Cheney is the most devisive VP since Spiro Agnew---but to Democrats and most of the American public---81% 0r so--Cheney is not to be trusted---and ask thyself---would you buy a used war from this man?

So just as Hillary is raw meat to the Republicans---inspiring emotional hate----Cheney is the same for the Dems.

And this why I am guessing---the 08 nominees of their parties will be none of the above because of too many negatives.

But in times when six months is a political eternity---lets get through the 06 elections first.--where much will change regardless of results.

And the new rallying cry may become Bush&Cheney for jail asap----8 or more years.

I highly doubt Cheney will run.

As far at the 19% approval, you can throw that number out because it is based on what people hear in the news about him.
Once he gets out and starts talking about what he thinks and believes the number changes.

I say it will be McCain, Romney, Giuliani, Newt or perhaps some Republican governor.

Hillary is a centrist--too namby pamby to get the rational excited---Cheney is an extremist--and #1 advocate for Iraq and other extreme causes.
When and if events PROVE Cheney wrong---he will be finished as a candidate--caught betting the family farm on a losing horse--Hillary has not taken any extreme
stands---and is likely to weather the unpredictable far better.
