Haha, this is great. You guys bash on Cheney because he said something to contradict himself in a 13 year old video, but Hillary can contradict herself every damn day and she's just "changing her mind" according to the libs.

Yep. Funny how that works, eh?

Pretty funny when we are talking about the death of 3500+ of Americas best citizens potentially due to Darth Cheney being such a miserable flip flopping deferrment mastering POS

This thread isn't about Hillary. Let's stay on point.

Dick Cheney will say or do anything to work his agenda. He has close ties with the PNAC crowd that was pushing to invade Iraq back during Clinton's term in office....

With out 911, they would have not been able to gather the support of the country for an invasion into Iraq.....

How does Hillary's relevance or irrelevance to this subject matter diminish what Cheney said back then and what eventually transpired in Iraq?

Don't you just love it when everything tries to bring up a Clinton when a Bushie is put to the fire?

Let Cheney's comments stand on their own merits, not someone else's.

From the 1994 interview:

"The question for the president was ...how many additional dead Americans is Saddam worth?"

Remember, Sadam had nothing to do with 9/11, and the Administration admits this.

What gets me is that people still trust these guys--how in the hell does that work?!

JHC I was just using Hillary as an example, do we really need to go into all of the different flip floppers in congress that you people support and make excuses for? I'll bring up Clinton any damn time I like as long as you people go all nutso with "GWB war of lies Bushwacko Haliburton blah blah blah" in every thread.

Let's see: Blowjob vs Sending thousands of American men and women to die in Iraq.....?
It's clear that getting a blowjob is more impeachable!

Its relevant because Hillary was for the war, along with almost everyone else in congress at the time. Sorry, I'll use someone else next time, I know some of you have a shit fit anytime someone dares to criticize a Clinton. If you guys are going to bring up a 13 year old video about Cheney being against the war, then you better damn well believe that someone will bring up the others that flip flopped on the war. Maybe you should go hunt down all the BDS sufferers that bring up GWB in every thread.

Apparently some of you miss the point that its just as stupid to point to a 13 year old video of Cheney saying that we shouldn't go into Iraq as it is to point to a ten year old quote of Clinton saying that Iraq has WMDs......point is, times change.

Edit - Sorry, I brought up Clinton again, if it gets your panties in a wad just substitute Clinton for anyone else that made the same claims years ago.

JD50: ...point is, times change.

NOTHING has changed, that's the point.
This is not about supporting you sports team vs. someone else's team, no matter what.
People are dying b/c of a deliberate lie. These people (Bushco) continue to be caught in lies and yet millions are still willing to believe them.

BTW, your "NOTHING has changed" statement does a lot more harm to the Dems than it does the Republicans. The Dems are the ones changing their stance and now saying that they are against the war, even though they were for it, but according to you nothing has changed......

Thats great, thanks for completely ignoring my point....

I do not support Bush or Cheney, they fucked up big time. I still think its stupid to point to a 13 year old video and say that someone is contradicting themselves. Yea, it is a little funny, but to take it as being a serious contradiction and act as if nothing has changed in 13 years?

hindsight being 20/20, of course not. Now, would you like to answer this question?

Schwarzkopf said it was a bad idea, and HW was smart enough to take his advice. A reality-based decision.
