I have a question about this case. I noticed that the blanks that go on the front over the 5.25 inch bays, are the color of the case(ie, orange, or blue, or silver). So if I stick an ordinary beige drive in there, won't it look crappy? Or do the covers hide the drive somehow?

no, probably it'll just look ugly. cases without doors are a tad misleading, they sometimes look good before you put in stuff😉, but oh god those beige optical drives just ruin the look right away. i like cases with doors, muffles optical drive noise to boot.

My roomate made the mistake of getting a beige drive with a black chase. It looks like total crap. You need to remove the covers to get the drive in there so they do nothing. Only way to fix it is to paint your drive.

course theres the stealth drive option. taking the case placeholder thing and shaving it down until its just a flat plate you can attach to the drive tray using double sided foam tape. then mount optical drive a little farther back, if needed add spacer thing that touches button. don't use button or just mash the cover against the button to open😛
