Chemical bomb in Virginia Tech library!! --Update: just ruled a hoax--

Hey.. my brother just told me this. Says the whole area is roped off and the police have called in the bomb experts.

Anyone else out there in VT know anything more about this??
 
my freind that goes to tech just told me the same thing.. they roped off the library and drillfield in front of it
 
It's a rolled up sock wrapped in black electrical tape, with two pieces of speaker wire coming out hooked up to a battery powered alarm clock.
 
All these hoaxes fvcking suxor! The freaking Science Museum of Minnesota has been closed for the last two days because some fvck wad left a bottle of shampoo in a suitcase along with some book about terrorism in one of the exhibit halls.

CONFIRMED! Suspicious package found...DID NOT DETONATE!!!!

VT students just got an email from the university. Library was shut down...evacuated. I will upload the contents of the official letter when my ex forwards it to me.

No link.. my brother goes to that school and he is the one telling me about it.
 
No one at VT is treating this with any concern...its just another one of those freak occurences or scares (like people callin the CDC after finding a pile of dirt in the grass!!)

It won't be linked to major news carriers until tomorrow as an afterthought.

Move along now people...
 
I'm at VT here. I haven't really heard anything recently about the bomb scare, all I know is that they evacuated the student center, bookstore, and one of the residence halls across the street. Pretty crazy stuff.
 
They evacuated a building on my campus earlier today for about 45 minutes. Never found out why, but I would assume it was an idiotic prank.
 
i'm at vt too (unfortunately). nothing special going on, the university sent out the first email. this is a repost, anyway. someone else already posted the email. nothing to see here people, move along.
