I highly recommend Shocktop or Blackberry wheat by long trail. Both are kind of regional to the northeast but are amazing. They have a bit of a fruity flavor to them that I think you're looking for.

We get Shocktop here in Nebraska.

I haven't had Shocktop since I found out it was being released, so I cannot remember exactly how I felt about it (it was on tap, cannot find it in stores around here though). I cannot really say if I'd prefer Sam Adams White Ale or Shocktop more. But I'd definitely go for Summer Ale over Shocktop at every chance possible.

The only cider brew that I have been able to palate is a pear cider. a kick-ass Thai place in The Haight has Wyder's on tap, and it goes perfectly well with their garlic edamame. hmmmmmmmm

but yes, it is extremely weak at ~4% and cost-prohibitive for a 6-pack.

It was alright, but I don't think I'll be buying it again.

dos equis and blue moon are pretty good, and dont really have that bitter taste. i dont really drink beer, but when out with friends ill drink either of these if they are available.

I highly recommend Blue Moon. Very tasty without being overly strong or bitter. If you feel the need to add fruit, it's good with an orange slice in it.

I'm not a big Corona fan, but it's not bad with a slice of lime and definitely far superior to drinking a lime flavored miller or bud.

i was drinking blue moons last nite with orange slices in them. the orange becomes overpowering to me at about 1/3 left in the glass, so i end up taking it out fairly early. im not a corona or tecate fan at all either.

We also get Shocktop in AZ. I was going to recommend that, but I was too slow to respond. I prefer Shocktop over Blue Moon if I am in the mood to drink girly (read: fruity) beers.

OP, how about you just buy some Natty Light or other cheap beer and add lime salt?
