0302 Noblesse looks really nice, how awful is their shipping? Now I wonder what is correct; photo shows only 3x5.25" bays and descrip states 4. (Wow, $128 for antec 1030 clone!)

This place has some nice cases too. $97 shipped for the Antec 1040 clone, (comes with a P4 420 watt ps by Channel Well Tech.).

Looks like I got the last one. I bought it last night, and when I went back to the site, it was out of stock. Sorry, everyone! ;)

I've used a couple of these. Nice case. It is black instead of the charcoal antec ones. Just not crazy about the blue latch.

Yeah.. What's up with the blue latch? What are these manufacturers thinking? I'm pissed at Antec because their black gray case doens't match black drives and this one has the stupid blue latch.

I'm just going to stick to computer beige until these case manufacturers can get their act together.

I have the exact case you're looking it. The description of 4 5.25" bays is correct. From the photo, you can see the 3 on top. There's a little 'hidden' door at the bottom. You might want to put something like a slot-load DVD or something in there. The door that opens up-and-down needs a little grease. The case is nice, but it shows finger grease nicely :p. Finally, the door opens well if you have your case on your left side. I prefer to keep it on the right, so it's a little inconvenient. If you have any burners, the automatic tray opening will easily open the magnetic latch, so you don't have to worry about damage from that.

Hope this helps!

Jerkychew, what case are you referring to, the ones @newegg, or the 0302 Noblesse? (I just checked and the Noblesse is still in stock).

Thanks for the info elmo. Yeah I see that bottom bay now....strange place for one. Since you have one, would you be kind enough to answer something please; 1. are the power and reset buttons accessible with the cover closed, 2. do BOTH side panels easily detach, 3. is there a place for a FRONT cooling fan, 4. If a 3.5" or 5.25" bay fan was used, would it be useable with the cover closed (meaning, could the bay fans still get incoming air with the cover closed)?
Thanks....Clint

P.S....I never understood the point of a the door or cover for a case being hinged on the left side!! They are all that way that I have seen! All cases need to be accessible from the left side, correct? That's how we add or change hardware in them. That being the case (no pun intended :) ) the cases must be on our right sides of our respective desks or tabletops, on OUR right sides so we can easily get to the left sides of them, or have their right side up against a wall since there is no reason to readily access the right side of them. Having the hinge on the left side really makes it difficult to add & remove CD's or floppies since the door would be *swinging outward* toward YOU and your face! One must reach around/over/under the door to access the drives!!

I own 3 different shades of black on those chieftec-antec-enermax case's. I have a light black-gray chieftec and a medium black chieftec and a real dark black enermax. Its very confusing.

looks like a great deal at that KDC computer place. they have the new Antec 1080 and 1080B for $135. has the 430W TruePower Antec PSU, along with the ports under the flip-up logo in front. very tempting for my next system.

no tax in CA, but shipping is horrendous $26.13 to me, for total of $161.13 YIKES! still cheaper than base price directly from Antec, at least.

Howdy Sal!
I just got my Chieftec from newegg on Saturday.
The IBM Black is BEAUTIFUL, but I have to agree about the latch.
Baby blue? Someone was smokin crack, fer sure!
Anybody have a source for a replacement latch for this case, preferably a silver, dark grey (not that gunky "charcoal") or black?

What latch are you guys speaking of? I don't see any latch on the antec 1030 or 1040 clones, only on the 0302 Nobelesse case do I see a latch.
