Cheez moved out to wilderness, then got free housing, & going back to Wilderness

I think I saw some of his videos, he seems to have some Karens trying to make his life miserable for some reason, reporting him for the stupid pettiest crap. It's why it's very important to be in an unorganized township if you're going to be living off grid.

Good lord ... listening to that guy ramble was physically painful! 🙄

11 minute video most likely contains about 2 minutes of relevant content.

(I'm guessing on this I gave up watching after 90 seconds or so of skipping forward)

Yeah I am trying to get to the point but I don't need to hear about the land you ended up not getting when I'm trying to hear a story about what the hell is going on with the land you are on now

Yikes.

He needs a unit that can have an air intake from outside so he's not breathing in all that smoke with the door being open. Also you're never suppose to have a chimney that goes up and then down. He's going to get so much creosite build up in that pipe. It's almost like a reverse P trap for the smoke.

Stacking kindling next to the wood stove? Using a spray bottle of gasoline as a fire starter?? Is it possible for someone over the age of 12 to have this little knowledge of fire safety?
I have a feeling Cheez will end up as a news story on the local Indianapolis channels at some point. What that particular story will be, I don't know yet.

However, I'm fairly confident it won't be a story during the "feel good" news segment.

"Unauthorized shed occupied by homeless man in park explodes"

"...miraculously, the cat survived and has since found a loving home" (hopefully)

You gotta admit, if he's doing all of this as an elaborate troll to fake his own death, it would be the best trolling in Anandtech history. Even dennifloss or theflyingpig would have nothing on this.

it has to be real

but if it isn't... then we are seeing master class trolling

diogenes would be envious

Is that dryer vent stove pipe?! The wood next to the stove is the smallest concern I see there. Using accelerants is for n00bs, but if you're going to, for fuck's sake, use diesel!

edit:
I hope he doesn't get the "bright" idea of pretreating the wood with gas to get ready for a fire later. That explosion will be spectacular D^:

Looks like 30 gauge galvanized which is only slightly better, I'm thinking the cardboard he said he used for going through the window is the biggest fire hazard. I can't take single wall vent pipe from a nateral gas furnace within 12" inches of anything combustible. No combustion air, flu running downhill, venting a foot from a window. Hard saying if fire or CO will do him in.

Anyone else tried to satelite view around the indy zoo looking for his spot with landmarks from his videos? I can't find it I don't think hes by the zoo but nothing else in indy make sense the way the rails run and you can see downtown something in the background occasionally in his videos.

i would choose Aquanet.

He obviously makes SOME money to be able to afford stuff like this, if he really wants to live off grid there are so many better ways of doing it. I think for him a van/RV build would be better honestly since he's probably not in a position to buy land. At least if he gets kicked off some spot he can move the van somewhere else. He's about to loose everything if he does in fact get kicked off that land. Or if he burns the place down first lol.

Cheez only seems to take advice from Jesus, though, so you'll need to find a way to funnel that idea though him. Maybe a burning bush would work?

I am almost positive he is just south of the zoo off Washington street. Somewhere back in one of those wooded areas. Lots of his videos you can see the brick building with the tall chimney. Pretty sure its the Harding Street Lofts.
