NEW YORK ? Bubbly blond "Cheers" star Shelley Long (search) - depressed over the bust-up of her marriage - was rushed to the hospital after taking an overdose of painkillers in an apparent suicide bid.
I am not trying to downplay the seriousness of such despair but usually if you want to commit suicide you will. It was probably more of a half hearted attempt and a plea for help and attention.
Put your head on straight and try again.
You have your opinion I have mine. If she really wanted to check out she would have ensured she did it in a manner in which there was little hope of survival. I don't considering her method as such an attempt.
You sould have read my post, yes I agree that many if not most suicides are more of an attempt at a cry for help, but at the same time it isn't fair to say something like that because male and female minds work differently she could have really wanted to die but because females tend to not even consider the more violent (and sadly more effective) methods, I'm guessing that is part of why she was unsuccessful.
