I drove by a kinda new burger joint not far from my place. Cheeburger Cheeburger.

Do any of you guys have tried it ? Is it good or is it another McDo/BK/Wendys kind of thing ?

If it ain't the Billy Goat Tavern it isn't a real Cheeburger.

According to the Billy Goat, it's "Cheeborger," yes?

If I am not mistaken, they have a 1lb burger that if you eat the entire thing, it is free and you get your picture posted on the wall.

1 lb is easy pickings, I think you mean something along the lines of 64 oz or 128 oz (4, 8 lbs).

yea they have a 1lb burger at Carl's Jr. I've eaten it before and it wasnt anything to win a picture over, just a heart attack.

their web site actually says if you eat the 1 lb burger you get your picture on the wall, but it says the 1 lb burger is 20 ounces, their 1/2 pound is listed as 10 ounces. They muyst have figured out what weight a burger needs to be pre-cooked to be 1/2 a pound and stuff. Kind of cool, I hate ordering a 1/2 burger only to get a 1/3 because how the shrink after cooking 🙂

When I make burgers at home, the small ones are half a pound. One pound would be easy.

They are ok. Kinda greesy.

WTF?!?! they use fairly lean meat. If you want greasy, eat at Five Guys... it's like Cheeburger, but so unhealthy in comparison. It's soooo good 😀

as for Cheeburger, I loved it when they first opened up here. But I haven't been in a while. It started going downhill... all the people we knew who worked there disappeared. But the fries and shakes are the best.

Well... thanks for your inputs guys. I'm going to try it for today's lunch.

The one I saw is in the Mercer Mall, along Rte 1 in Lawrenceville.
I'll keep you posted.
