They probably made $87 out of the $100 that should have been mailed, therefore leaving everyone with $13...well, most of everyone...

Got mine today in Seattle. Talk about a flimsy pseudo envelope. They didn't waste any of this settlement on paper. It probably would have cut into the lawyers profits.

I bet they're hoping for a lot of that...when I cashed mine, the bank teller said "lots of folks have been cashing these lately - and I threw mine out by mistake thinking it was junk"

Got mine today, and it was the scare of my life! I get the "envelope" and see it says something like "music industry anti-trust settlement," and my heart started going crazy. "I'm getting sued," I thought. "I'm really getting sued." I just looked at the envelope for a few seconds before realizing that if I was being sued it wouldn't say "anti-trust settlement," and then I felt much better. :D I had totally forgotten I signed up for this. I think I'll use it toward a new hard drive (mp3s can take up so much room.) My fiance wants to go to law school, and I always tell her that if she ever works for the music industry it's gonna be all over...
