Checking windows updates are installed?

I know its been posted here before, but I can't seem to find the thread.
Anyway, does anyone have a link to that MS program that checks all the windows updates/ patches are installed correctly?

I've just spent an evening cleaning qhosts out of my system, although my virus defs are up to date, and I'm fully patched. I'm guessing that the windows patch that blocked the exploit qhosts uses didn't install correctly, and I'd like to check if any others have borked too!

You might also want to check out Microsoft's Baseline Security Analyzer, which scans your system and tells you not only what Windows updates you're missing, but other Microsoft software updates you need as well (Office, SQL Server, etc.).

I use MBSA (Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer) and HFNetChk. Unfortunately, the detection engines (They're the same, actually.) are not capable of detecting the presence of all of the critical updates that might be on a system. They also give false positives in some cases where another update has placed a later version of a critical file on the system. They're better than nothing, though.
