Checking tire pressure.

When you set the tire pressure on your tires to specs, should that be done when the tires are cold or hot? Anyone know?

Go by the door's recommendation (not the tire's max) and do it cold.

Tire max is typically greater than car recommended and tire pressure increased when hot.

keep you pressure on the low side for traction and on the high side for performance and in the middle for gas mileage.

When test driving a car always test the tire pressure to see if the owner jacked it up to make the car handle better.
