I use MBM5 and Speedfan, but there are many others. Everest also is very good.

Its accurate, its shows multiple items temps, and the UI is very easy to use... Like OCCT or StressPrime2004 instead of Prime95...

It's not the only product to do such things. In the final analysis the efficacy of a UI is in the eye of the beholder. In short, "FTW!" doesn't apply.

Dude that is really anal. 😛
Depends on the hardware. Poor build quality can result in sub-optimal (read: sh*tty) performance, and bad or insufficient airflow can cause trouble sometimes too. Even if everything runs normal, lower temps are generally better for the equipment and increase its lifetime by a bit. So yeah, it can't hurt to keep an eye on your temps.Originally posted by: Kendral77
I guess I needed to be more specific in my question, because I have no clue when it comes to heat monitoring. I didn't know if I needed to get a hardware item, or if it was software. But it looks as if there are both available. Thank you all for the posts, but one last question, is there even a reason to worry about temps if you don't OC?
