Okay so recently I upgraded my hardware. I decided to use the other parts that I had leftover from my previous build to use as a nice linux box. My problem is that now after I hook everything up that it holds during the BIOS and doesn't post. It says

"
Checking NVRAM.. No NVRAM
"

And then nothing happens, and I've left it on for a while and it just holds there.

Anybody have this problem before

AMD Athlon-XP 1600+
MSI K7T266PRO+2

Any help is appreciated.

"No NVRAM"? That's bizarre. The PnP/ESCD "NVRAM" is stored in a block on the flash chip, along with the BIOS. Perhaps the flash chip needs replacing, or re-flashing, or something? Very strange..
