I often see the "minor inconsistencies" message when running chkdsk /f or chkdsk /r on my boot drives, regardless if they are in RAID-0 mode or not. Even got the message when checking my new system (new as of 8/2003) as shipped by Falcon Northwest. Never had an issue related to the message that I am aware of.
duragezic: While I have never run Seatools Online, I have used Seagate's floppy based Seatools and their Windows tools. I too received "invalid file format" messages, so I investigated a bit as I have 4 Seagate drives.
What I discovered was that if one disables Window's Indexing Service for a drive, Seatools seems to think the drive's file format is invalid. I could zero a drive, then initialize and format the drive and Seatools reported no problems. But as soon as I disabled Indexing Service for the drive, Seatools reported file format problems. I could format a drive, or turn indexing on/off/on, reboot etc with varying results, but the error (in my case) was simply caused by turning off indexing. This was nuts - disabling indexing is valid! So I figured Seatools had (probably still has) a bug in it and just ignored the message.
