Flying down to Costa Rica tomorrow, and we are bringing some toys in a separate box for our 1 year old nephew.

We already found out the dimensions and weight requirement, so its not a big issue. But what do they do about tags and labeling properly?

Should i just write our names in big permanent marker on the side along with the flight number and destination?

I assume those sticky tags they attach to the handle of normal luggage would be fine to stick to it, but I dunno.

Tie a rope around the box too and then you can attach the tag to the rope. Make sure you have a good strong box.

Any chance you can fit the box into a large duffle bag? The bag doesn't have to be super sturdy.
I've checked in boxes on international flights with no issues, but I found putting it in a large duffle bag to be a little easier (easier to carry).
