check your connection microsoft store needs to be online - can't install a game from Microsoft Store

I came across this approach.
1: go to settings/ accounts/ look for sign-in options/add accounts/sign in with your Microsoft account
 
Odd question, but is it on a corporate network? Our Proxy .pac file at work doesn't allow traffic to the Store - giving this error.
