I'm picking this up as a gift for an employee of mine. It seems very close in spec to the Samsung 712N I got for Christmas which is a very nice monitor.
 
I dont get why everyone is dead set on dvi. Yeah dvi is good but its not like 15 pin analog is bad. I hook my set up both with dvi and analog and the difference is minimal but there is a difference.

really? The difference between DVI and Dsub on my 2001FP is night and day.

 
From my experiences 17inch and under dont really benefit too much from dvi. On my 19inch I notice it a little though. However, it is nice knowing my colors are actually right.
 
I just read in Maximum PC( Page 12 March Issue 2005) Samsung has a no dead pixel policly for the first 6 mo too🙂 started at the beginning of 2005 for all their LCD Monitors. I have this monitor it is a very nice monitor for the price no DVI though:-(
