That's right folks, 0 - ~60 in 3.1 seconds. Can you imagine the rush you would feel?? Damn!

Here's the link:
0-60 in 3.1seconds

The car looks good too!

Ummm...NFS4, the Skyline is NOT RICE! It is a great machine! It wins many rally championships too! The Skyline R34, the Lancer EVO VI, and the Impreza WRC are not rice machines.

BTW, the engine in the Skyline is powerhorse! It can go upto 1000hp with forced induction. Without, it can probably go for ~240hp (not sure about that one). It's a 2.5L inline-6. Plus the Skyline handles AMAZINGLY!
I heard that the Skyline GTR was banned from a few Rally races in Austrailia because the AWD system was too good! (i cannot confirm this..but i did read it somewhere).

The Skyline is not rice, it's a functional machine..and the new model coming out looks ddammmnn nice!

EDIT: Those stickers were probably on the car because it was used in a race, you can get that much performance from the car without stickers you know.

not to too much of an ass, but couldn't i put a picture of a ricer on a website and make up my own stats for it? In that case I have an 81 blazer that puts out 1120hp and does 0-60 in 2.3s...sweet eh?

Ok, it may not be rice...but it sure is close to being stir fried ;)

I just don't like the Skyline b/c I think it's an ulgy piece of sh!t with too many electronic gadgets and doodads all over the place. Gimme something simple like an RX7. Now THAT is a true sports car ;)

It is pretty cool looking, maybe if you took all the visual crap off it. ;)

NFS4: Thank you...I feel better now =)

Convex: You probably could..but I doubt most ppl would do that. Hmm...maybe I should make a website about my '91 Corolla. It has around 90hp and does 0-60 in a weekend. But it does handle pretty good around corners at speeds greater than 30km/h.

All you need to get 0-60 in ~3.5-4 seconds is a CBR1100R honda, you can get one for around £9,000 pounds standard. Top speed 210 MPH.

My 600cc Suzuki GSXR done 0-60 in just over 4 seconds, just about in first gear - 12000 revs :)

I don't think it was banned from rally races (and if it was it wasn't because of the AWD of it, Subaru probably has the best AWD system (I mean EVERY car they sell has one :p )), but I think it was banned from a couple GT events or something though.

It just isn't built like a rally car at all, so I just highly doubt that.

Another Japan-only or OTUS (Other than US)car that will never make it here.
:(
Lets see
Subaru Imprezza WRX
Mitsu EVO series
Lancia Delta
Ford Escort-Cosworth (I think it has another name now)
Toyota Corolla WRC
(There is or was a Celica model also)
And others....
As for production 4-wheel Drive
you can all thank the UR-Quattro from Audi in the early 80's

The Honda CBR series does kick some bootie. I was thinking about picking up something in the CBR900RR area, but then I bought a Lexus IS300 as I wanted a new car. Now I need to save for a bit. I used to have a Shaft driven crotch rocket. Fun bike.

the skyline r32 (a few models before) was indeed excluded from the australian bathurst 1000 race. in a feild of more than 30 5L V8's the skyline blitz the pack to com 1st & 2nd three years straight from the time it entered the comp. mid u it never won by split seconds it won by half half a kilometre, so officials banned it. the AWD system and the fact that the race track was at high altitude was advatageous for its complex turbo system. now only v8's are in the comp. By the way the skyline has never entered a rally its too big
1523 kilograms, its mostly used on the race tracks. WRC cars like the subaru imprezza mitsubishi evo V and pegeot 206 are around 1200kgs

japanese sports cars are very popular here in sydney with many young people buying and modifying them.

hominidskull 210 mph on a bike? You sure? Anyway if that bike can do that (I have no doubt it can do the 0-60 you stated) how many people in the world have done it? S.C.A.R.Y. Anyway, bikes and cars can't be compared - bikes are cheaper, but dangerous as hell!

nfs4 Rice isn't rice if its fast as hell. overboost.com had an Eclipse on there which looked only minorly riced but its performance was in line with a porsche and it had 1.06 or 1.07 G handling!

skoorb...

It wouldn't really surprise me if it could do 200+ mph. Guy I work with here has a CBR929RR. He can get a kit of titanium gears for it that will boost it's top speed to somewhere around 185. An 1100 doing 200+ is reasonable, I think.

Would I do it? Hell no!
