I found one for $569 with nearly equivalent features.

The other system you quoted will actually be slower than the one she had. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these aren't including monitors. The computer I'm making is around $410 w/o a monitor. I suppose selling Office would help, though.

Look tonight, later, after midnight until say 2am. New drops hit roughly 40 min's after the hour. That's the best time to look. I'm going to PM you with some more info on Dell Outlet.

And, no monitors.
