Check Proposed System Upgrade Please

I'm upgrading from a y2k Dell 8100/P4 1.6/256ram/Me and plan about 50% web browsing/e-mail, about 25% photoshop/Illustrator/dreamweaver, and about 15% online gaming (UO), and about 10% video/dvd ripping & burning. I have debated 939 Venice or 754 Palermo and for what I will be doing it looks like I won't get the benefits of going with a 939. I won't be doing any intense gaming or overclocking, and keeping cutting edge is not really an issue as long as it lasts another 4 years or so.

For this system I plan on using my existing three pata HD's, Lite-on DVD-Rom, Benq DVD Burner, and the 3.5 floppy. The things most important to me are stability and reliability, support for 6 or more pata drives, firewire on the front and back, and fast (and easy) internet.

Here is what I thought I'd go with...

MOBO: SOLTEK SL-K8TPro-754 Socket 754 VIA K8T800 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail ($99)

Proc: AMD Sempron 3000+ Palermo 400MHz FSB Socket 754 Processor Model SDA3000BABOX - Retail ($97)

Memory: CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model VS1GBKIT400 - Retail ($77)

Video Card: SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600 256M Radeon 9600 256MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card - OEM ($80)

Case: Antec Sonata II (when it comes out) - ($115?)

OS: Microsoft Windows XP HOME Edition With Service Pack 2 - OEM ($92)

Total - A tad over $550.

Please let me know your thoughts - any suggestions welcomed.

Bump - any replies very welcomed - I can budget an extra $100 for this system so help with the Via v. nf3 or via v. nf4 and 939 v. 754 sure would be appreciated!
