I call it the Spinetastic Fruit of Ass Kicking +12. It was labeled California Peach. It's spines say "Stop, don't come closer" but it's delicious coloring begs for you to come ever nearer to the SFoAK12.

I don't have proof, but I envision an island paradise of SFoAK12s living in harmony with nature. Undaunted by the tuna, monkies, and wild bears that swim thousands of miles for a taste.

The spines form a barrier I call the ZSTZ or Zero Sh!t Taking Zone. Make no mistake, anything entering the ZSTZ will be cut. The SFoAK12 takes no crap.

yay durian! and when you split it open, its smell will simply overwhelm you... and everyone within one city block 😉
 
That Durian is small.

The one Chaotic posted looks like a cactus apple. They grow wild all over the southwest. They're good, but have a zillion seeds. This one looks like it has been de-spined. When they aren't you can get hundereds of tiny, almost microscopic spines in you that are extremely difficult to get out.

Cut it open and enjoy!
