Yep, I've seen a chain mail on that going around. Its not that much, Bill Gates or any other billionaire/multi-millionaire could do the same. They just chose not to.

The wealth distribution in China is awful. Some people in the cities are making about 7000 RMB a month while others can spend that much for a single meal on a daily bases. Not saying that this doesn't happen in the U.S., but you hear about these stories far more in China than here.

Asian go love to show wealth, and this is one good example.

Coal price have been very good in the last couple of years as shown Here, and IMHO will continue to go up due to greater global energy demand.
