so is it like a jukebox type thing where you pick a disk and it reads it without you having to take it out or what? That would be sweet, but not $1000 sweet.

DONT buy that pos, I saw this last year at cebit and what a pointless device, gets my vote for the most stupid item on the show.

It connects to the computer through the USB port and then you load your SOAD cd's in slot 1 and 2 and then few Tool cd's in slot 3, 4 and 5. Then you go to the stupid program on the computer and type in System of a down - System of a down for slot 1 and then System of a down - Toxitiy for slot2 and so on. When you need a cd, open up the stupid program and click the button beside the name you want and the reqired slot opens.

Why you ask? I have no damn idea

well... its big chunky, can only hold little over 70 cd's and well... I´v seen things more worth it than this crap.
I have 3 72cd wallets full of cd's and could easily fill up another one that are currently just in cones... hmm.. yeah...

I'm starting to like this idea, think about connecting a 8port usb hub to your computer and then having 8 of those cd things 🙂

If it had a robot arm to load the CDs into the drive/player and a way to automate "naming" the bays, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Ok shut up now before I go buy one AND a mindstorm kit. I already saw a dude who made a 3490 tape loader....it's probably not that different.

pretty close probably, but you can do almost everything with lego mindstorm, saw some page where someone created a device that hangs on some sortof a kite or a hangglider and flies it... not well though.

well i don't have more than 70 or the size of it... it's not the best value, but i'm not seeing anything similar that's any cheaper.
