Gaacckkk and he's a fellow countryman as well. Please stop bombing!! You'll slow my connection down!:| It's slow enough already.:p

Of course, if he's with Bigpond, he probably doesn't know what he's doing. They're not the "thinking man's choice" of ISP's.

ss59 - about 3 years ago someone decided an email I sent him was "spam" (I replied to a usenet post he made and emailed as well as posted and my sig had a commercial website url in it). He email "bombed" me.

I wrote a nice apology to him and an email to his ISP asking if mail bombing was acceptable under their terms or service. They pulled his account.

He, of course, complained to my ISP about my spam. My ISP said that one handtyped letter that was a reply to a usenet posting was not "spam" and told him to pound sand.

That's now filed in my dirty tricks bag. If I really push a few buttons and get mail bombed, I can get the person kicked off their ISP. I haven't had to do that, but it's nice to have options. <grin>.

So don't mail bomb. If you're really upset (don't see why this one email would be so bad), write SETI@HOME and the persons ISP.

I consider that spam in the same manner of all those "get rich quick" Emails. If they're stupid enough to leave an Email address for return I always copy and paste the address to a bunch of "free porn by Email" sites. I'm just returning the favor! :p

I think the dnets guys would also be interested in this, so you may want to drop them a message, who knows maybe they can work on stopping this spam all together, like by never showing a person's full email address, i.e strates@rxxxxxx, as dcypher does, I believe.
