what does "you get what you pay for" have to do with a dead cat?

I don't get it either.

Think it was the OP's cat and he might have paid for him when he was a kitten...least I hope that is the case and he is not a sadistic beastiality necrophile...

It wasn't my cat; I just wanted something to put in the topic summary and thought of how sad it would be if someone sold someone else a cat for cheap and the cat turned out to be dead.

It was late.

Why would anyone spend money for a cat though when 90% of them are given away for free?

IMO, that makes the story even sadder because the person was taken advantage of. :moon:

So how much did you pay for a dead cat and does your room mate know you stole his gym shorts? 😛

Hmm, that edit... You are disconcertingly perceptive. :Q

we adopted our cat from the humaince society, because if they are kept long enough, they are put to sleep.... the cat was fully vaccinated and guaranteed for 30 days, we all love him to death and do not regret ever spending the $ on him!

I hate seeing dead cats and dogs.
You just made baby Jesus cry, man.
PSA, people, keep the kitties indoors .

< Keeps Ginger, The Amazing Talking Cat, inside where she is safe from harm by stray dogs, fleas and ticks and the various diseases that are associated with that. Not to mention virtually eliminates the possibility she will be run over by a car or Bicycleist.

< killed a cat at age 14 on my 10 speed. My second worst bicycling experience ever.

So if the cat broke down within 30 days, they'd fix him for free?

Make sure you pay with a credit card so you get double the warranty.

Aw, that "free cat" picture is terrible. 🙁 It depicts an open mockery of an innocent creature's death.

Which differs from yours HOW?

I paid for mine.

Did you get the extended warranty?

CraigRT may have...

Just hope they don't charge a 25% restocking fee when you bring it back

And?
Comedy uses mockery, that's the whole point.

Why did you pay for a dead cat?

I was going to post this. You beat me to it.

All living things are born with a Death Subroutine that cannot be recoded. Whether the end of the equation is reached naturally, via time, or unnaturally, via mans' intervention is irrelevant.

Be grateful for the time you had with your purchased pussy and move on with your life. Your cat is dead like my Grandpa. I miss him, but whining won't bring him back.
