It is kinda scary to think that the typical family in Kentucky probably has more branchs in their family tree compared to those Pitcairns.

I used to talk to Tom Christian a lot on Ham Radio. He was Mr. Ham Radio of Pitcairn. It was a very desirable place to work.
I believe he is dead now.

Hence the large number of people with the surname 'Christian' - descendants of Fletcher Christian.

Good thing this island is way out in the South Pacific. Canada could be in danger of a takeover if they were very close.
