Check out this 19" beauty!!

I think practically got firedd before the designing of this "notebook"
As i read in one of the reviews its just a portable desktop with a UPS, lol.
How ever saying that it would be cool to have to take to LANs, much easier than carrying a regular computer

As a portable desktop, it is still more portable than a Shuttle XPC plus flat panel monitor but hrmm... I dunno... 😕

that is why you get the AC adapter with it. you don't need Battery at a lan party nor do you at ur desk. Hence forth DTR.......

my favorite part of the write-up: "energy efficient AMD Turion M-Series Processor"

why bother, at that point?
it gets props for having HL2 on screenshot, though.
that keyboard looks really, really uncomfortable, though.

Because Turion runs cooler than a X2 or a regular Athlon. Is already very cramped up inside their with 2 GPU, the RAMS, and the mobo. The Turion also has lower power consumption.

Looks more in the league of a desktop with a monitor duck taped all together (needs a Bulldozer battery to keep it alive)...? 15.5 lbs makes it something to work out with rather than want to carry anywhere...?

Think my Dell 9300 is about my limit...? 😉

But think of the looks at your local lan party... 😀 DOH...!

As a desktop replacement, a 19" laptop would be pretty nice. It's probably not something you'd want to lug around between the office and home daily but if you work in an open landscape with no pre-assigned desks or if you have to work from a conference room for a week, it would be nice. I'm, a developer and haven't had a monitor smaller than 20" in the last decade and until recently had 3 22" trinitrons (as a side effect, I was completely unaffected when the building heat went out 🙂. Anyway, had some collegues from europe on site for a week so I had to work from a conference room. I would have gladly paid for a 19" laptop that week (though I'm not sure I'd pay $3k for one).
