check out these pics I had done for Mothers Day

After hearing my mom complain she didn't have any good, recent photos of me, I started thinking about how to make her happy. Shortly after all of this, my brother showed me some promo pics he had made for his DJ'ing. A friend of his just setup a photography studio in her basement and is pretty talented. So I asked her, if I paid her, if she could snap a ton of pics of me. I'm not the most photogenic person, so I hardly ever get good pics. Anywho.. I went, and these are some of the better pics I had done. The photographer wants me to select my top 10 faves so she can edit them, fine tune the lighting and colors, etc..

If photobucket doesn't work.. go here and look for the obviously studio style pics.. Starts halfway down the directory myspace.com/dirtyjason pics

Great, just what every mom wants: Pics of the top of her son's head and his crotch wrapped in holey jeans.

Speaking of epic fail...

Yeah, listen to the replies man. These are cool pics, but I'm thinking your mom was hoping for bright shots of you looking straight into the camera with a smile on your face. Go outside and post up against a tree with some good lighting and see what you can do for your momma. She lifed you!

actually, I had the idea to go to the photographer after my mom saw my brothers pics from the same person. She liked those, the style, etc..

They look underexposed.

Some are. We took alot of pics, experimenting with shadowing, etc..

Once I decide which 10 I like best, they are going to be edited. She showed me some pre/post editing pics and the differences are amazing.

I stand corrected, just going by stereotypical mom here. 12 is solid.

Ahh okay...I was thinking these were final product. Some do make for decent low key shots, but others just don't have enough light. But I'm sure that will be fixed.

Not final product. She said editing will include targeted cropping, light adjustment, colorizing, fixing blemishes, etc.. all magazine cover style editing.

Get dressed up in a suit or something similar and have a photo professionally done for her. 🙂

I'm not a suit. And she rarely sees me in a suit. might look unnatural for her.
