No way that's in-game action and not pre-rendered video. I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, believe it. MS doesn't do that whole Sony "It's realtime!" lie thing.

Oh, everybody's lying about something to sell you the product.

Stretching the truth, yes..But flat out lying? I've only seen sony, EA, and Peter Molyneux do that. Sony said many times that the Killzone 2 trailer was real time..when it's pretty clear that it's not..one of the developers even said so, IIRC. Also all the lies about how powerful the PS2 was gunna be..

Dude, thats nothing compared to the new Grand tourismo 5 game on PS3. (detail and lighting are out of this world realistic.)

Those shots are pre-rendered on what they "think" the final result will be. Just like their E3 videos....all pre-rendered "to spec" - that's Sony's term. ANyone remember the videos before PS2?

Here's some of PGR3 in motion:

Second video (also cool, but shorter):

(if you don't want to stream it there's download links at the bottom)

That is not in-game. It may very well be from the in-game movies that are pre-rendered, but NOWHERE do I see a vehicle at a drivable angle, and NOWHERE do I see any sort of GUI to support the idea that someone is playing.

In-game, to me, means playable parts, not just an FMV.

edit: watched BOTH videos. The second one CLEARLY has a noticable change in the graphics quality that makes that one seem more like what we'll see on the in-game graphics. Good looking, but surely not the same as the first video posted.

They are race/replay camera angles mostly. It's in trailer form. That is the game engine. Period.
