cost about $135 shipped to get all 6 printed. you pay by the yard. the fabric i got was like $24/yd but they also had a 10% discount.

Wow - those look great! But did you do the measurements to make sure those are at your first reflection points? :p

And, just out of curiosity, what acoustic absorption material did you use?

sometimes on certain bass frequencies i notice some rattling of things in the ceiling like my lights vibrating against the fixtures, but during this movie i didn't notice that once. my wife never notices things like that but i do. whether it had anything to do with the panels, i have no clue, but it could have just been that movie didn't have any of those bass drops in the frequency that cause the vibrations.

You may want to consider doing a 'super chunk' style acoustic treatments in the corners. There is an easy way to find out if you'd benefit: Go stand in the corner and if the bass is significantly louder than where you sit they would be helpful. I did it in mine and noticed a very large improvement in the quality of the bass. The bass volume was significantly more even across frequencies and it removed all of the rattling I was getting. It also improved the experienced volume levels at non-optimal seating positions with no increase in volume settings at the receiver or sub.

Basically you cut triangles of the acoustic material and lay them on top of each other - typically in a frame and then wrap it with acoustically transparent fabric. They can get pretty expensive if you use Owens Corning 703 type material but I used mineral wool and I want to say it cost around $50 a corner floor to ceiling. It was more of a pain to work with as its very loose, fibrous and itchy (so mask + gloves + long sleeves) but it took less than a day to do all three of my corners (stupid door is in the fourth)

no i did not take any measurements. as i mentioned it was primarily for asthetic reasons for the most part, but i figured i might as well use some kind of acoustical material if i was going to be doing anything. and i liked the project that i saw up on avs lol.

i used the roxul rockboard 80 in 2" thickness for the material. i did use gloves and long sleeve when working with it and cutting it. no mask though but i tried to be careful about breathing and stuff so hopefully i turn out okay :p.

and yeah i haven't really thought of doing the bass traps. i definitely have noticed though in different seats that the bass response can be very different so i'm sure i could probably benefit from them just from noticing that.
