The grassroots for Ron Paul are trying to raise a large quantity of cash in the next 24 hours.

In the past hour they've taken in nearly $200,000.:Q

It is entirely possibly they will outdo Obamas million dollar day last quarter. Should be interesting to see how this plays out over the next 23 hours.

I too would like to see the official numbers, but in the last big push he had in online fund raising before the end of the quarter the numbers on his website were quite accurate. I do not doubt that today will see a giant push for Ron Paul. Although I am a bit surprised by the ~100k/hr donation rate, especially so late in the evening. For myself, I had to wait until 10am local time in order to donate on the 5th of November (being in the middle east an all). I half expect to see a large increase in the donation rate when people start waking up in the morning.... 🙂

For all the "spammers" and "bots", they sure do seem to generate a lot of cash! It must be the Ron Paul virus out there magically siphoning cash from people's bank accounts 😉

It's not the Ron Paul fans fault that they're actually excited about a republican candidate for the first time in... Forever. Or that there is even a republican candidate to get excited about at all.

They do make 10x more threads about him than any other GOP candidate, though.
