I have a modded box also but a yellow / black with gold /yellow LEDS and a 120gb soon to be a 250 if I ever get one.
drive and the controller switch is the only way to go....

I had mine done with the 12 volt fan upgrade and it cut 12-15 degrees off the cpu heat,it is a bit louder but nothing that bothers me..
All though I did not do my own but none the less they rock and now the PS2 sits so it is being sold..
