OK, here's a tune I wrote last night and recorded between then and this afternoon. Not much to write - I picked up the bass and wrote the little progression, which I looped up in Acid. It's just a LONG guitar jam - a wankfest, though a bit more melodic than shredding (since I can't shred...lol).
Two of my favorite solos are Watermelon in Easter Hay by Zappa and Purple Rain by Prince (why couldn't HE just shutup and play his guitar?) - these major, drawn out wailing solos that are a bit outside the norm... So, this was my take on that theme. A little extra guitar, some vocals, and it was all set. Oh, and it also has my usual Floyd influence as well... (Oh, and in the beginning you can hear a mystery song from the radio coming through my little $25 "Smokey" guitar amp I was using as a pre-preamp...)

It's definitely a "turn off the lights and put on the headphones and light some incense (or something else)" kind of tune. Totally repetitive, just a long slow burn on the guitar. Ya may dig it, ya may not...
