Cute! If I ever get a dog, it'll be a husky. 🙂

Just remember they are smart, independent and tireless. They will destroy your yard/house if you don't keep them occupied and exercised. Beautiful dogs though as long as you have the space and the time. I actually think the malamute is a bit better as a house pet though.

Nothing new here...I have cats. 😛

THIS.

She is very clever, she will do what she wants, and will listen when she wants. If you ever want a husky, talk to another purebread husky owner, they will tell you what quirks they have compared to say ... your typically family dog lab/golden/etc.

Serious dog are serious!
(He looks serious, guys, not mad)

Cute pup, I see a lot of Photoshop in his future:awe:

more like a yard pet, they prefer the outdoors (but they don't bark much so it's not annoying for the neighbours). they also get big as fuck.

We live in a Condo...have not had any issues without having a yard. A yard can be just as bad as caging a dog.

We take her to the dog park 2-3 times a week, walks a lot, running, etc.

Skijoring in the winter hopefully, now that I have two 😀

Beautiful animals! I'm soooooooooo jealous of you puppy/dog owners.

Having been a puppy owner many times, I'm not. Puppies are like boats, they're best when someone else owns them and lets you play with them once in a while. Bring your puppy to visit, I'll have a great time with it for an hour, then please take it home.

Being a puppy owner reminds you why nature made puppies so cute. It's the only thing that keeps their owners from strangling them.

I grew up with two huskies. They ended up living mostly outside because that's what they decided they were going to do. They only wanted to come inside during the summer. Actually, those dogs decide a lot of things on their own, and you have to just go with a lot of it. I remember my dad converting a large shed into their home, running heat out to it, and then having to put a smaller "den" inside of it filled with straw that they liked to sleep in. Luckily, we had a very large yard. Great dogs, but high energy. They loved to dig and they really liked to get out of the yard and go swimming in the lake behind the house.
