NEW: Another song is up, "Atmosphere." It's on myspace right now. It's completely different from my other two songs, but I thought I'd try something new. Check it out.

OLD: Check out either my myspace or purevolume page. I made a new song, this one is not a remix of anything. It's not as techno-ish as the other song. Still, for anyone who's partially interested, you can check it out.

OLDER: I've started working with Fruity Loops studio, and I made one song so far. It's a "remix" of the interlude from "Episode 666" by In Flames.

It's a really repetitive song, but I think it's at least decent for a first try.

I'd appreciate it if people at least listened to some of it and possibly supported me and told others about me.

Purevolume

or

Myspace

Thanks for checking it out

I think that's sorta the thing that fruity loops is good at.

So yeah, I'd appreciate it if you would tell others about it, and tell the to tell others, and so on. I'm not interested in anything marketable, because I don't plan on making any money for this. It's just a fun thing I'm starting on.

But it would be nice to have some "fans"

Even if you don't like it, I'd appreciate people telling others.

Work with some better synths (I can suggest, as freeware, Jeskola Buzz [which has a lot of plugins available]), a good mixing and effects program (like the open-source Audacity), maybe some samples and drum grids, and you're golden. Like, a million times better than me golden.

Thanks, I'll look into that. Right now, I really like FL studio because of how easy it is to use, and I have a lot of plugins that I could use for it...I haven't really used many special features of it. But if I ever feel I need something else, I'll keep note of that.

Hmm .. I can't stand recent In Flames stuff, but Whoracle was just an awesome album. I'll check out your hmm ... butchered? ... version of the song later (when I'm not at work.) Sounds like it could be pretty cool.

Fruity Loops is awesome, and nice job on the music man. I should play with FL some more this summer when I have more time on my hands.

You need more software than fruity loops, and you need to use more than the built in samples.
You need to filter and resample more. You need to make your own samples and use more plugins.
You need to do a lot more.

In my honest opinion it's awful. Though you're totally green to it so keep on plugging.

It would be better if you had better equipment and made it sound more professional and less midi-ish.

I've never even used any of that...this is all new to me...I don't know what to use filters for, don't know what resampling is for, don't know how to make samples, don't know where to get plugins (i've looked)...

It's all new, so I'm just using this right now as learning process.
