I realize this is the equivalent of pulling photos of the grandkids out of my wallet but hey, he's 13. and he painted his case, put in a window, laser LED's, etc.

Dan, the mod looks great, plus I printed the instructions for future use, hopefully this weekend if I'm not too lazy One thing though, on the final link to the finished project, you may need to clean up the link to the final result as this is what I see when I do a mouse-over:

Zim Hosein: Thanks for catching that. The error doesn't show up (for me) in Explorer or Opera. I just checked with Netscape 7 and sure enough, there it is.

I believe I corrected the glitch that Zim Hosein spotted. I rechecked the site with Explorer, Netscape, Opera and Konqueror; everything looks good.

gj to the grandson. What type of paint did he use? I'm thinking of painting my case maroon and I was something that looks clean and glossy. l8rz

He used glossy black "Quick Color" all-purpose enamel.

Did he use a certain brand? Or paint especially for metal surfaces? Just curious.

The brand is Quick Color. It' s their Gloss Black J2851. Apparently it's distributed by ROC Sales, Inc., 11 Hawthorne Pkwy, Vernon Hills, IL, 60061.

And yes, it is for metal surfaces.
