The "March of the Pawns" game is my favourite.

I'm trying to stick with a couple openings and gain experience with those. As white I like the Ruy Lopez, and as black I prefer the Sicilian. Getting my arse handed to me by this one German dude I am playing though.

Let me know which game you think is the best.

You ever try the Queen's Gambit? I almost always play that.

Yeah, but I didn't know what I was doing and got into lots of trouble. Perhaps it's time to try it again.

computeerrgghh, very nice! Happen to have the PGN for the game?

ifoundthetao, Capablanca and Tal are my favourites. Tal is always entertaining because he comes up with moves from no where!

dowxp, sure! Signup on Gameknot and send a challenge to mucman... Or we can start a game in this thread

That's where I play. It's pseudo correspondence and it's great! You can login and view all current active games. When it's your turn to move, simply make your move and wait for your opponent. Some people play only a couple turns a day, others try and get the game done within a few hours. I prefer this format since I can let a turn wait a day if I happen to be busy, and you don't have to sit and wait for your opponent to make a move.

oh .. how about 10 min game then? I'm not into crrespondence. .

Sorry, no can do... hard to do those type of games while at work. I prefer doing a turn every 90min or so. I see you joined GK, so when you do feel up for a correspondence game, just shoot me a challenge.
