I bought the new case because ill be letting my wife have the old system, and I bought 10 case fans because this case uses 80mm fans and I needed 4, and the price of 4 was more than the price of 10 because of the deal and free shipping on 10 and +.

I bought a cheapo pair of headphones because the $30 ones I have now are worn out and leave black pieces in my ear.

I bought that sound card because I use the same one but its 5.1 instead of 7.1 and the quality was HUGE over the onboard ALC888 that my current mobo has, and I figure the new mobo has pretty much the same one.

I'll be using an evga GTX 285 video card on this setup, I stepped to that one from my previous card and the price difference was $75.

so what do yall think? am I set for couple years with this build?

What PSU are you going to use?

thx, I think that mobo just popped up on newegg today.

i was looking at that ram but settled with tighter timings

I've got 2 PSU's
ultra LSP 750 pro, 750 watts, 45A on the 12v rail, its got only 1 8 pin PCIE adapter but 2 6pins, its also 20/24 pin, 4pin and 8 pin for the mobo

the other one is pretty much the same thing except 650 watts and doesnt have a 8 pin pciE connecter but has the other stuff. plus this one I can only plug in the wires I want to use.

aww crap I just realized the mobo's FSB is only 2000 instead of 2600 on the am2/am2+ board.... ffs

will this impact overall performance? or any at all?
