I've had my q6600 for at least a year, runs stable at 3.0ghz.
Just wanted to make sure I had all the bios settings correct/good.
The parts-
q6600 G0 revision
Ultima 90 heatsink with scythe 120mm fan
asus p5k premium
OCZ DDR2 PC2-8000 4GB Platinum Edition Dual Channel http://www.ocztechnology.com/p...m_edition_dual_channel
In bios I have these settings
fsb 333
5-5-5-15 2T tRFC 40, the rest auto
ddr2-800
vcore 1.325V
vdamper enabled (they changed the name in bios recently)
In cpu-z this gives me 3.0ghz, rated fsb 1335, DRAM frequency 400, FSB
RAM of 5:6. Dual channel - Symmetric
Running OCCT the 4 cores hover around 55c. The vcore at idle is 1.305 and jumps up at load to 1.31 so no problem with vdroop.
Anything look out of place there? I'm not looking for anymore o/c, just want to make sure nothing is being crippled by an incorrect setting.
