Check for LED screen?

I just got my new T400, but I was wondering if there was any way to be absolutely sure that they put in the LED screen I selected. Are there any tests I can run?

Not aware of any such quick tests. But - this forum has some good ideas. There is software that will I.D. the part number, and that can be researched.

LED

Example, I use Belarc Advisor, and it tells me this about my Lenovo T60:

ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 [Display adapter]
ThinkPad Display 1400x1050 [Monitor] (14.1"vis)

That tells me I have a standard LCD CCFL backlight.

Go into Device Manager, Monitor, right click your monitor and hit properties. Under the Details tab, click on the drop down menu and click Hardware IDs. Then get the hardware ID and google it.
