I've recently taken on the roll of healthy eating/weight loss.. I even joined a gym and have been going religiously every day they are open. I cut out most sugars/white flours. Though im still a major carb whore which is hard on me.. But I havent had anything fried in a long time now. I get my weigh-in/measurements done a week from now to see my progress for the first month at the gym. wish me luck :)

there is nothing wrong with a cheat meal now and then. in fact it's recommended to do so a couple times a week so you don't get completely bored eating chicken breasts and brown rice all the time.

Man, why do people rail on carbs so hard? When I ran cross country I used to eat 3+ pounds of pasta a day. Carbs are not bad for you; they will not make you fat.

The cheating thing....Ok, look. You should be keeping a weekly nutrition log (yes, actually writing down everything you put into your mouth each week and what's in it. Your cheat meal or cheat day is a representative of the difference between your actual caloric intake and your goal caloric intake for that week. That means if you only undershot by 50 calories one week, then all you get is a cookie. Sucks, but it works.

Saturday is the cheat day for my fiancee and me.
No diet, just exercise and eating sensibly.

It's boring.

Pics or shut up.

And this is any different to any guy bragging about 100000 pts in this bench mark?! Or his latest toy? At least you can't buy good health or a 10lbs off your body!

Forget cheat days. Just don't bother with it. As long as your 'usually' good with what you eat it doesn't really matter AT ALL.

But good to hear you keeping the weight off.
