kid posts his project (programming) on the internet in hopes that someone will do it for $50

some /other/ kid notices the post, and snitches him out

professor posts a few posts after the OP and the kid surely gets owned in class

snitch reveals himself and his myspace is found and posted on MW

Read the whole thread, either a) some guy in the thread said he turned him in and is telling the truth, b) the teacher uses a spider to search the internet for her name and found it on her own (unlikely), or c) some random forum dude sent her an anonymous email with the link.

admits it, even though he could have denied it - what a maroon.
threatens the kid who he thinks ratted him out - could have been a joke, so the threats were dumb.

He even got off lightly...

i wonder what his mom did to him, besides take away his modem.

I like how most people on that thread say the snitch is a douche & karma will get him. "Because there is nothing wrong..... because everyone cheats".

I would bet that the person who posted that he was the rat was not even real. It could have been anyone... just register an account and claim to be the rat.

Then everyone came out of the woodwork to post pics and info on some kid named Michael. Sucks to be him, if they got it wrong.

The focus went totally away from the point of the thread.

It is not about finding the rat or getting pwned by the teacher. It is about the fact that he cheated.
