I need to mail single cds to like 30 people, what is the best way to do this? Basicly its a cd and prolly a sheet of paper, should i just put it between 2 pecies of carbord and stick it in an envelope? Will 2 37 sent stamps cover shipping?

1st class is probably the cheapest if you keep it light. It's $0.37 for the first ounce, $0.23 each additional ounce.

go to costco and buy a ton of padded envelopes.

or else you can see if they sell massive amounts of cd mailers. try also office depot/staples/office max for deals.

then go to the post office and send them first class. it should be pretty cheap. about a dollar for each one.

I did this a while back, shipped about 50 discs to AT members.

I found some CD mailers that worked out to like 30 cents apiece (self sealing, non-padded - I can probably find where I got them if you want).

Here Part #50PS
Picture

Order # 50 100+ 200+ 600+ 1000+ 5000+ 10000+
50PS $.30 .26 .20 .18 .17 .16 .15

They require more than one stamp to mail, but less than two. I was lazy & just used two, but if you send them all out at the same time you could probably pay exact postage & save money.

Total cost should be <$1.25 including the cost of the CD.

NOT Media Mail!!!

i went to the post office cause I was told this once...i was mailing 3 cd's...and the lady was like, you could do it media mail and pay $3 or something and it will get there in 8 days, OR you could mail it first class and pay 68 cents and it will get there in 2 days...

she said media mail was for back in the day when people would send a bunch of video's

Media rate goes by pounds so they would charge you a 1 lb. rate for a CD.

what i did before was put a cd in one of those paper sleeves that oem software comes in, wrapped a piece of computer paper around it, and put a stamp on it

hahaha

if it got lost, i'd burn another copy of the cd i sent. no big deal.

and no this isn't my FS/FT policy. in that case, i'd use some sort of hard packaging to prevent the breakage of a legit cd whether its bubble wrapped cd case or an inside out cardboard package that i get when i buy cd's online.
