Cheapest way to get internet from router when other pc is 20 ft away?

I don't have a wireless router and I never used one.

The cable modem is at my dad's room and I have a non wireless Linksys Router. Should I...

A) Get a wireless router (will that require 2 wireless NIC? or can i use 1 ethernet to the computer that's close?)
B) Get a 20+ FT long ethernet cord (has to be black, by the way).
C) Other.

20+ Ft ethernet cables are dirt cheap on NewEgg.. I got a 100Ft recently for $15 :thumbsup:

Wireless routers all have 3-4 wired ports too, so (A) only requires one wireless NIC (card or USB). Outpost had some dirt-cheap ($15 each) and Hot Deals is also always listing ultra-cheap ones especially for older "b" 11 mbps models.

Keyboard = Black
Monitor = Black
Chair = Black
Most of wires = Black

I want it to match. dont want Blue with Black.

B. Even if you pay retail, a 20ft cable shouldn't be more than $20. If you check around, you should be able to find them for under $5.
