So I'm a broke ass college student. I don't drink milk, so GOMAD is out of the question.

Should I just stock up on a ton of pasta and brown rice?

I'm 6' and weigh about 150. I would like to get up to 170.

Ideas?

Well, you already took milk away so anything and everything chicken. Chicken breasts until you can't look at another one. Eggs every morning, lots of em.

Are you using your rec center and have a routine going? Or do you just simply want to put on weight, regardless of what it consists of and where it lands?

Two pounds ground beef, 1 or two pounds ground sausage, one dozen eggs, and many tortillas. Brown the beef and sausage, drain (or keep it if you don't care) the fat, mix in the eggs(eggs will absorb the fat if you don't drain it). Voila, cheap breakfast and lunch burritos for about a week. High fat and protein though, so for dinner try and eat as many vegetables as possible with some type of protein.

Or if you are part of the college meal plan, just stuff you face in the cafeteria.

Or learn to drink milk, you can get a gallon of lactose free milk in most grocery stores if regular milk bothers you.

Chicken breasts by themselves are pretty low in calories.

I used to go to the gym, but my schedule doesn't allow it anymore...nor can I afford it. I bought a doorway attachment so I can do pull ups, chin ups, etc.

I really just want to fill out a bit more.

Just want to gain wait? McDonalds Dollar Menu.

I've been trying to do that. I've watched too many documentaries on fast food so every time I eat it I feel like shit.

Thanks for the recipe. I'm definitely going to try that out. I drink almond milk pretty regularly.

used weight set off craigslist

cow milk has 4x the protein of almond milk (per quick googling). if you don't like regular milk buy protein powder in bulk and mix with water. rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein per lb of lean body mass per day. you'd have to drink yourself into the poor house to get that from almond milk.

If you want to gain weight to just get fat then eat fast food. If you want muscle then eat chicken. It's cheaper then fast food. A 5 pound bag from walmart can last me 3 days for only 7 dollars. Seven dollars for 3 days is way cheaper then anything else out there.
