i have some extra parts lying around, and decided to build a system for my girlfriend, but i need a motherboard.
I am a college student, so i have very very little money, so was wondering what's the cheapest and easiest motherboard i can get that will work with a tbird 1.4? i have an asus a7v133 i've tried using, but just can't get an os to stay stable for more than a day or two at a time
. so i'm looking to buy something nice and simple
i don't need anything special at all; doesn't have to be fast, doesn't need all kinds of special options, i want something very simple (changing motherboard bios's and installing raid drivers has given me headaches - i'm not too good with building comps). so what i want is something i can basically screw in, plug in the drives/cards, install an os, and be all done
other equipment is:
40gb ibm hard drive
hercules gf2 64mb gts
512mb of generic sdram
turtle beach santa cruz soundcard
and i plan on using windows xp professional
