Hi, all. 6years lurker finally joined seeking help from fellow Anandtecs.(I was in college when I first found out about this site)

I got lot of 16 computers identical in size and weight(20x20x12 18lbs) going out to various address. Who has the cheapest rate? UPS ground,USPS, Staples shipping center, I'm sure many of you are dealing with shipping everyday who can enlighten me.

afaik UPS ground is as cheap as it gets, but your computers may arrive in several pieces.

whatever you go with, INSURE it.

I always thought USPS was cheapest. Although, they may arrive a couple weeks later than expected.

16 computers -- Maybe try and ship it freight, but you might now have enough weight there....actually, I'm fairly certain you won't. Maybe ask relatives/friends who ship things and try and piggyback their orders.

hm, 4 different answers from 4 different fellow anandtechies.
it's 16 computers to 16 different buyers so freight is not an option.

In my experience USPS Priority is normally cheapest. Make sure you do their Click 'n' Ship service though as it costs a little bit more to go to the PO. If your parcel is already boxed then it lowers the price as well. Priority normally gets there in 2-3 days but it's not guaranteed. Good luck.

That's new to me and good to know. Mines are all boxed and ready to go. I was considering Staple shipping center. Thanks.

FedEx Ground has been cheaper than UPS each time I've used them.

Are you guys blind? The USPS will be the most expensive by far! It's 18lb packages and they are not small. Here's my opinion: UPS will work but they beat the crap out of your packages. I would personally go with Airborne Ground of Fedex Ground.
