whoa, those are pretty good prices already, IMO.

i usually buy form the local dealer (i.e. compusa, best buy, circuit city, office depot) cause someone has a 50/100 pack for $9.99/$19.99 quite frequently

BestBuy has Imation 700MB 50-pack for $2.99 after $10 mail-in rebate. You can order it online even though they're backordered. Deal good till the 15th of this month.

damn the best deal i got was when outpost had free shipping back in the day, $10 for 100 imation cdrs NO REBATE with FREE pair of cheapie speakers (that i ebayed for $15).. basically paid me $5 to take 100 cds.. too bad i can't find deals like that anymore

I usually average 50 Fujifilm or TDK CD-Rs for FREE or $10 after rebate from Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, you name it.

The best part is no shipping expense/wait/hassle and these are the best CD-Rs you can buy ... Taiyo Yuden's MADE IN JAPAN. Yes there's a rebate but I'd rather deal with that than shipping.

I just wait until there's a sale at Best Buy or Circuit City. I got a 200-pack of CDRs from CC last year for $10 after rebates. Of course, they're no-name brand, but they work. That's all that matters to me.

Best deal I got was from CompUSA which was 5 20 packs of Imation 700 mb 16x CD-Rs with slimline cases for $9.99 after rebate. They have that deal about every 3 months.
