Board supports 775 1333mhz(FSB) so I can put about anything in it. Currently have a 2.6 celeron and want to go dual core. Whats the best budget dual core?

Overclocking or not?
What RAM do you have?
Any specific reason for the upgrade?

in one system I have i went from a celeron 420 to an e2160 it was a noticeable difference.. If you arent overclocking, i would have to say for the most part any c2d will be a performance increase for you, better thing to post is how much are you wanting to spend?

would the 2160/2180 be good for gaming? I was looking to spend around $100-120. The board the CPU is going in I don't think overclocks well. It might allow me to up the FSB but thats about it. If the CPU could do that at default voltage then I might be able to.
